Woman stabs husband in Spring Garden assault, police say

Police arrested a 54-year-old woman Wednesday night after she allegedly stabbed her husband during a domestic disturbance in Spring Garden Township, according to a news release from police.

At 10:35 p.m., Spring Garden Township Police were called to a home in the 600 block of Ridge Avenue for a domestic-related stabbing.

Once there, they arrested Donna Williams, 54, and charged her with one count each of aggravated assault and simple assault. The victim, her husband, 60 — who police did not name — was treated at the scene and released.

No further information on the domestic disturbance was provided.

Williams was taken to York County Central Booking for processing and arraignment, police said.
