He also has been on many TV & radio shows and has participated in many charitable organizations.

Yes, he is more than an American Idol contestant.

But……..it all started on American Idol so lets have some fun.

The following video was put together by the talented SueReu.

  1. What I think is these are two beautiful guys – but I still think Clay should have been the winner! I am happy that they are still friends, but Clay will always be the "STAR"!

  2. This is my favorite video of Clay and Ruben! The beginning of a beautiful everlasting friendship. Thank you, CANN for bringing us a momentous time of these two extraordinary performers.

  3. I think that since Clay Aiken entered my world, I have made friends, traveled to places I never would have gone, learned more about life than I ever could have imagined and loved a singerman with the heat of a thousand suns!!! Thank you, Clay! And thank you, CANN, for this wonderful place. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  4. Who would have thought that a singing contest 14 years ago could have a lasting affect on us to this day? Clay walked right in and stole our hearts and continues to spread joy wherever he goes. God bless him for founding NIP.

  5. Me too – just love it, loved reliving it, thank you both!!! Your vids are classic, SueRue!!! Their Timeless tour was fun, too, they were having such a ball and Clay said “I didn’t lose anything on American Idol, I gained a brother!” Makes me cry for happy…
