Ranked: The 10 best attractions in Pennsylvania

There's a lot to do in Pennsylvania (including roller coasters, corn mazes, getting mad at how other drivers merge and driving to your next cruise).

The oldest Amish settlement in the United States can be found in Lancaster County.

But USA Today's 10Best awards have ranked the 10 best by combining the opinions of readers and experts.

The awards asked a panel of five travel writers, including UncoveringPA.com's Jim Cheney and gleesonreboots.com's Jill Gleeson, to pick the top 20 attractions. From there, readers voted on their 10 favorites.

A billion bottles of beer:Nowhere in the nation brews more craft beer than Pa.

The results? Heavy on beautiful scenery, with state parks and other attractions nestled in nature accounting for about half the winners.

Only one of the top 10 attractions is located squarely within southcentral Pennsylvania: "The Pennsylvania Amish of Lancaster County."

But several others, including Knoebels, the Flight 93 National Memorial and Longwood Gardens, are a relatively short drive away.
