Raiders' Marshawn Lynch fined for double middle-finger gesture, per report
In his first game back in the NFL on Sunday, Marshawn Lynch helped the Oakland Raiders to a season-opening win over the Tennessee Titans — and earned himself a fine.
Lynch has been fined $12,000, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, after television cameras showed him raising both of his middle fingers during the fourth quarter of a 26-16 win over the Titans.
Lynch ran for 76 yards on 18 carries in the game.
He seemed to confirm the report with a Tweet later Thursday.
The former Seattle Seahawks star, who returned to the NFL this season after sitting out in 2016, has been docked by the NFL before on multiple occasions for both refusing to talk to the media and issuing obscene gestures. He famously fulfilled his Super Bowl XLVIII media day obligations by repeating "I'm just here so I won't get fined."

In addition to two $50,000 fines and a $75,000 penalty for not talking to the media, he also was docked money twice for grabbing his crotch after touchdowns in the 2014 season.
