The June death of an inmate at the Ingham County Jail was due to natural causes, officials said today.

BELLEVUE TWP. - A Mancelona woman was killed, and four others injured, in a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday in rural Eaton County, officials said.

Eaton County Sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of Ionia Road and Stoney Point Highway — about three miles north of Bellevue — around 6:30 p.m., said Jerri Nesbitt, a spokeswoman for the Eaton County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators believe Taylor Marie Boice, 26, was driving northbound on Ionia Road when her SUV left the road and rolled multiple times, Nesbitt said.

Boice and three passengers were ejected from the vehicle. A fourth passenger was pinned in, Nesbitt said.

Boice was pronounced dead at the scene. The four passengers were taken to area hospitals and were expected to survive, Nesbitt said. Further information was not immediately available.

Investigators believe none of the five occupants wore a seat belt. Speed was "most likely" a factor, Nesbitt said, although the crash remains under investigation.
