Happy happy weekend, y’all!
Is there any better smell in the mornings than coffee and cinnamon? We’re in recovery mode this morning because it has been a whirlwind of trips this past week… one that we can’t wait to share in detail with you guys. Eye candy is putting it lightly.
We were also honored to speak at Haven {a home design / bloggers conference} and meet some really amazing people, so we’re definitely recovering mentally… to say we’re a our brains are fried would be an understatement. But there’s no place like home, because we were greeted by our favorite little people last night, and two equally excited {not so little} puppies! Hurray for amazing moms who keep the kids – I have a feeling they’re better off with her than with us – She takes such good care of them :D… y’all she even did the laundry. Seriously couldn’t do it without her.
Here’s what happened with The Handmade Home this week:
• Packets up – something you should know about hidden dangers in the home, no matter where you are in life
• Good Night Sleep Tight – we wanted to share more freebies – & these are pretty cute even if we’re totally biased
• Where to Eat in New Orleans {part 1} – don’t read this post hungry!
• Easy DIY Cork Magnets – a fun project with your kids to corral all those upcoming school papers!
A few of our faves from the www this week!
• this
• This amazing project to help others
• because we’ve got exteriors on the brain… the best doors we’ve seen this year
this project by thistlewood farms
this thrilling announcement from French Country Cottage
• picture perfect kitchens to start your week
• Also, the top things you’ll regret when you’re old. – sounds depressing because we don’t believe in regrets, but it’s kind of inspirational to get-it-while-you-can, too. Also, define old… ;} #Iwontbeolduntilitsover
Happy reading sweet friends and have an inspired weekend!
