Woman shot, killed in North Hopewell Twp.

One woman was killed after she was shot while driving with her husband Saturday afternoon, the York County Coroner’s Office said.

Myers School Road in North Hopewell Township

 

Nancy Folcomer, 55, of Red Lion, was sitting in the passenger seat with her husband driving in the 2500 block of Myers School Road in North Hopewell Twp. around 3:45 p.m. when she was struck in the shoulder while they were driving.

Folcomer succumbed to her injuries a short time later, officials said.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, an investigation determined that two people were shooting a 9 mm pistol on private property when the victim was shot in the shoulder.

The investigation is ongoing, officials said.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital, officials said. The cause and manner of death are both pending autopsy.
