Apivita Eco-Bio Baby & Kids Hair & Body Wash

This was supposed to be a hair protecting oil post (coming up) but I got so distracted by this kid’s product that it turned into something else entirely. The more I see of Apivita, the more I like it. It’s a Greek brand, founded in 1979, and they’re so strong in the ‘green beauty’ market, but have only just come back to the UK after an absence so I’m getting to know it all over again. I’ve already used and like their hand creams but the scent of the baby wash is SO lovely, I’m a little bit hooked on it. Super gentle, obviously, if you have sensitive skin and the scent is very light, with just a hint of warm and fresh. It doesn’t remind me of babies so don’t feel guilty about having it for yourself! Apivita claims 100% natural origin ingredients (I know that’s a hazy subject but this is a very well regarded brand in that arena) and obviously contains no soap, colourants, SLEs, parabens, silicones or phthalates. It just felt like a very mild and gentle skin rinse – absolutely lovely. Formulated with organic calendula extract in olive oil, organic chamomile and organic honey, it’s good stuff for young, old and anywhere in between.

Apivita Suncare Protective Hair Oil

I’ve got quite a few hair care posts coming up which is unusual for me, but I have a bit more time to focus on it and this is smells so beautiful! I’d advise not spritzing it directly onto your hair – it’s not an aerosol so you might end up with a bit too much – instead, spritz into your hand and then lightly apply the sun filter oil. It contains sunflower and abyssinian oil and is 97% natural. It’s claiming natural sunscreens but doesn’t quite say what – but it is silicone and alcohol free. It’s light enough that it won’t weigh your hair down or make it look oily and in my hair felt very conditioning. It’s £24.78 and the gorgeous Hair & Body Wash is £13.63. The Apivita site is HERE – they have hundreds of products, so you’ll be there a while!
