Man threatens to shoot up York bar, police say

A man allegedly assaulted someone inside a York bar early Saturday morning, left to get a knife, then threatened to "shoot the place up" when he was denied re-admittance, according to charging documents.

Keith Tyrone Bull, 30, of the 1500 block of South George Street, Spring Garden Township, faces a host of charges, including possession with intent to deliver drugs, possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, simple assault, and disorderly conduct.

As of Monday, Bull remained in York County Prison on $30,000 bail.

Just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, York City Police were called to Pandora's Box, 466 E. Market St. for a fight, documents state.

Once there, they spoke with Dwayne Reid Jr. who said Bull assaulted him inside the bar, then left to get a knife to use on him, documents state.

But, when Bull was unable to get back inside the bar, he "threatened to come back and shoot the place up," documents state.

Reid then spotted Bull walking nearby and pointed him out to police. Officers walked up to Bull, who gave them his real name but a fake date-of-birth, documents state.

Police ran Bull's name through a crime database and discovered he had three warrants out for his arrest. He finally gave police his true date-of-birth and once he figured out they knew about the warrants, he took off running, documents state.

York City Police Officer Bradley Engle chased Bull through alleys and a back yard before he was able to deploy his Taser on Bull. Despite this, Bull continued to struggle, but was eventually arrested, documents state.

Searching Bull, police seized a knife, a plastic bag of marijuana, and an electronic scale, typically used to weigh drugs, documents state.
