No. 1 pick Myles Garrett signs rookie contract with Cleveland Browns

USA TODAY Sports
Browns DE Myles Garrett was the top pick of the 2017 draft.

Myles Garrett, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2017 NFL draft, became the latest first rounder to sign his rookie deal Friday and also this year's richest.

His contract will run for four years with an option for a fifth. It's worth $30.4 million, fully guaranteed, including a signing bonus of $20.25 million, according to NFL Network.

The Cleveland Browns announced their prized pass rusher's big news but did not release financial terms. Last year's top pick, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff, is scheduled to make $27.9 million over the first four years of his pact.
