Scott Foote joins Forsyth andRizzie

OXNARD — Scott Foote has joined Forsyth and Rizzie Realtors as an associate broker.

Foote has participated in many personal real estate sales and financing and rental property transactions. Through these experiences, he realized how important these types of transactions are for a family’s long-term happiness, goals and financial security. He hopes to help guide families to make the best decisions based on the future they have planned.

Foote grew up in the suburbs of Boston and received a bachelor of science degree in 1991 from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He moved to Oxnard in 1992 and worked on the Ventura Naval Base for 25 years managing the AEGIS program and supervising 150 engineers, logisticians and technicians. He received a master of science degree from the Naval Post-Graduate School in Monterey in 2002.

CSMAR Donates $1,000 to Samaritan Center

SIMI VALLEY — The Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors has donated $1,000 to the Samaritan Center of Simi Valley.

The Samaritan Center’s goal is to provide necessary services, assistance and support to help people transition from homelessness to productive members of the community. The center, which opened in 1994, serves approximately 256 people each month and is the only facility available in the area. Through outreach programs provided at the center, people have access to public mental health services, job recruitment, Veterans services and more.
