DELTA TWP. - Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a string of garage break-ins in Delta Township, police said.

A 17-year-old boy from Grand Ledge has been charged with first-degree home invasion and auto theft, the Eaton County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. Officials said they also have requested charges against a 14-year-old boy.

The teens were caught in the area of Webster Road and Old River Trail about 3 a.m. Tuesday after deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity and saw them running from a garage. Investigators determined they had been using a stolen car and also had broken into several other garages.
