The Detroit News,

Michigan found out Sunday night it missed out on a quarterback for its 2018 recruiting class.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, a four-star quarterback from Las Vegas Bishop Gorman, announced his decision to attend UCLA.

“University of California, Los Angeles. I'm your quarterback,” Thompson-Robinson tweeted Sunday night.

Thompson-Robinson saw limited time at quarterback last season behind Tate Martell, an Ohio State commit, and completed 21 of 31 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught 22 passes for 397 yards and eight touchdowns. He also ran for six TDs.

It was enough to vault him into the top 100 recruits in the country.

Michigan has seven commitments in its 2018 class, following the commitments last week of Texas twin defensive backs Gemon and German Green.
