Blood drive to benefit Children’s Hospital
CAMARILLO — RE/MAX Gold Coast Camarillo will host a blood drive from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 4 at 601 Daily Drive.
The blood drive is for the Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles. Platelets, the blood component necessary for clotting, are the most used component at the hospital for children undergoing bone marrow transplant therapy or chemotherapy.
All donors will receive a ticket for an on-site lunch sponsored by Fidelity Home Warranty and Skyline Home Loans. There also will be raffles and gifts for donors. Those that cannot donate are invited for lunch for a small donation to the hospital.

Janae Garcia joins RE/MAX Gold Coast
OXNARD — RE/MAX Gold Coast recently welcomed Janae Garcia to its Oxnard sales team.
Garcia is a lifelong resident of Ventura County who earned a degree in sociology from CSU Channel Islands. She worked with the Gold Coast team for a year before becoming an agent there. Her tenacious work ethic, determination for excellence and attentiveness to her clients' needs served her well and she was invited to join the Yolanda Castro Group at RE/MAX Gold Coast, a top producing team.
