Arrest made after carjacking at Bath Twp. Meijer

BATH TWP. - A suspect is in custody after an alleged armed carjacking Thursday at the Meijer in Bath Township, officials said.

Three men were arrested on drug charges in Port Huron

Bath Township police were called at 9:05 p.m. to the Meijer at 7175 East Saginaw Street, according to a release from the department.

A woman told police the suspect, later identified as a 24-year-old Flint man, displayed a handgun and demanded her car keys, purse and cell phone.

The man was later found in Flint and arrested after a short foot chase, officials said.

He was treated for a minor injury suffered during the arrest but is now in the Clinton County Jail, officials said.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
