Severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m.

The watch includes St. Clair, Sanilac, Genesee, Livingston, Oakland, Shiawassee, Lapeer, Macomb, Washtenaw, Lenawee, Monroe and Wayne counties.

Severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph and hail larger than 1 inch.

An isolated tornado remains possible, according to the National Weather Service. The storms are moving southwest to northeast at 50 mph.
