Allen Park – Travis Swanson has a concussion.

Despite finishing Sunday’s win over the New Orleans Saints, the Detroit Lions center missed Wednesday’s practice, indicating symptoms set in after the game.

If Swanson isn’t medically cleared by the end of the week, the Lions would likely shift rookie Graham Glasgow to center and reinsert Laken Tomlinson back into the lineup at left guard.

Defensive end Ziggy Ansah (knee) and running back Theo Riddick (wrist) also sat out. Ansah has been dealing with the ankle injury since Week 2 while Riddick’s wrist injury is new.

Linebackers Tahir Whitehead (knee) and DeAndre Levy (knee), running back Dwayne Washington (ankle), wide receiver Marvin Jones (thigh), safety Don Carey (hamstring) and tight end Eric Ebron (knee) were all limited.
