Three teens were arrested Thursday night after leading Detroit police on a chase in a stolen car.

Police spotted the silver 2000 Lexus while conducting an investigation at about 7:15 p.m., said Officer Shanelle Williams, a spokeswoman for the Detroit Police Department.

The officers pursued the car from Seven Mile and Chalmers about a mile east to Kelly and Casino, where “the occupants stuck a parked vehicle,” Williams said.

The three people inside jumped out and ran, but after a brief pursuit, they were arrested without incident, she said.

The group — two 19-year-old men and a boy, 17 — was taken to the Detroit Detention Center. Charges are pending.
