Dog walk set for Sunday

MARSHALL - A Halloween Dog Fun Walk is scheduled Sunday at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds.

The event is to raise money for a new canine for the Calhoun County Sheriff Department. The event will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds at 720 Fair Street in Marshall.

Sponsored jointly by the sheriff department with the Post Credit Union, the event will include a fun walk, a dog costume contest at 3 p.m. and photo opportunities including a dog kissing booth.

Cost of the event is $20 which includes a T-shirt. The event is open to the public.
