Outlook: The Red Wings (2-2) have won two in a row following Wednesday's 2-1 victory against the Rangers at Madison Square Garden in New York and will open a three-game homestand at Joe Louis Arena tonight against the Predators (1-2) at 7:30 p.m. Detroit will host San Jose Saturday at 7 p.m., and Carolina on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
