The forthcoming Laura Mercier Candleglow Concealer is being repositioned more as an enhancer than an actual concealer – I’d say, if you need heavy concealing this isn’t the product for you, but I tried in on my undereye and it worked really well for me in terms of adding just an extra film of coverage that my foundation didn’t get to. Think of it as a hybrid of concealer and foundation that is useful for those bits that foundation doesn’t do a good enough job on but concealer would be too much for. And yes, it’s definitely for the skin geeks who love that immaculate and intense level of base perfection.
I also need to mention that I had to do a heck of lot of clicking to get those pom-poms loaded up and it does slightly over-deliver so take care on those clicks.
Although there are only 7 shades in the Laura Mercier Candleglow Concealer Enhancer line up, I’m very happy to see the dark shade, 6. Above 6 is 0.5 and above that is 3. They’re £25 each from October. If you loved the Laura Mercier Candleglow Foundation (which I did and do), then I think you’ll like these too.

Not sure I’m crazy about the applicator on these. I prefer doe-foot applicators.
How does this compare to touche eclat? I’ve been using TE for ages now but this looks really good, and like there’s more coverage to it? xx
Those concealers look so amazing and look like they have such full coverage! I always struggle to find concealers that are dark enough for my skin tone and this shade range looks great. The dark shade, 6 looks absolutely perfect. I think that the sponge like applicators look really interesting too.
