ORIGINAL REPORT, April 1, 2015: Three men are charged in a March 3 robbery and assault of one of the men's ex-girlfriends, who reported the beating and that the men had stolen her wallet and marijuana, according to police.

Anthony L. Feo Jr., 20, Kyle Ian Montgomery, 20, and Connor D. Wentz, 18, are all facing more than a dozen counts of robbery, unlawful restraint, simple assault, and conspiracy to commit charges for the incident, according to court documents.

Around 10 p.m. March 5, Springettsbury Township Police spoke with Rebecca Vanada, who reported that Feo, her ex-boyfriend, and his friends had invited her to Feo's house to "hang out," then assaulted her, according to court documents.

Vanada told police that she went to Feo's home, in the 3700 block of Stuart Drive, Springettsbury Township, where she found Feo near the garage. She said Feo immediately gave her a bear hug from behind and Montgomery came out of a nearby bathroom and put duct tape on her mouth, documents state.

Feo and Montgomery took Vanada to the ground, held her down and began assaulting her, according to court documents. She said she screamed and attempted to wrestle away, but was being held down by her wrists and biceps.

Feo and Montgomery began yelling at Vanada during the assault, saying "we know you did this, we know you had us robbed," according to court documents. She said she believed they were talking about a previous incident where Feo was robbed in front of his house.

Vanada said her car keys and cellphone were taken from her, according to court documents. Montgomery used a hammer to smash her phone into pieces, Vanada told police. She said she was able to get the tape off her mouth, but Montgomery grabbed her around the neck and used his hands to cover her mouth and nose while she attempted to yell and scream.

Vanada said the glass from her broken cellphone also caused cuts on the back of her hands during the struggle.

Vanada said she was eventually able to kick herself free from Feo and Montgomery, but was then tackled by Wentz, according to court documents. All three men tried to roll and push her out the garage door.

Outside, Vanada was forced into the snow and the assault continued. Vanada said she could smell alcohol on all three men, court documents state.

At one point, Vanada said Feo's mother opened the garage door and yelled for the "boys" to get back into the house, then slammed the door, according to court documents. All three went inside, but locked Vanada out of the home

Vanada banged on the door to the garage until Feo's father opened the door, saying she wanted her stuff back. When she was let into the house, Feo's father gave her a bandage for a cut on her knuckles.

Vanada attempted to find her belongings and retrieve her smashed phone and keys, but other items were still missing.

After the assault Vanada went to a doctor, who documented her injuries, including bruising under both her eyes and blood in the fluid of her right eye, according to court documents. She had swelling and tenderness on her neck, and abrasions on both mid-arms down to her wrists, both of her knees and just above her hip on her back. Her treating physician told police the blood in her eye was consistent with being choked.

Vanada estimated her cellphone, a Samsung Galaxy S3, was valued at $350. She stated aside from $150 in cash, she had two grams of marijuana valued at $20 stolen along with a blue grinder.

According to court documents, Wentz admitted to investigators on March 6 that he conspired with Feo and Montgomery to rob Vanada. He admitted to the assault and gave suspected marijuana to a detective and stating it was taken during the robbery, according to court documents. The substance tested positive for the presence of marijuana.

Montgomery spoke with police on March 12, and admitted to conspiring on the robbery with Feo, according to court documents. Montgomery said they wanted to break Vanada's phone to stop her from calling 911.

Investigators spoke with Feo Jr. on March 16, and he denied conspiring with the others to rob Vanada.

All three men were taken into custody on March 24, and arraigned in front of District Judge Barry Bloss Jr.

Feo was held in York County Prison on $25,000 bail, which he posted on March 27. Montgomery is being held at York County Prison on $50,000 bail, and has been unable to post bail. Wentz was released on his own recognizance.

Feo is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing April 6, while Montgomery and Wentz will have theirs April 29.
