MSU's Jasmine Hines signs pro basketball deal

Former MSU center Jasmine Hines has signed a contract to continue her basketball career in Switzerland.

Jasmine Hines will continue her basketball career overseas.

The former Michigan State women's basketball center has signed a contract to play for Pallacanestro Bellinzona in Switzerland.

"I am very excited because this has been kind of a crazy process trying to figure out what is the best fit for me," Hines said in a released statement. "I wanted to go somewhere that has a good team, but is in a good area as well."

Hines, a former Michigan Miss Basketball, averaged 7.5 points and 4.6 rebounds during her MSU career. She averaged 10.9 points and 6.3 rebounds while earning honorable mention all-Big Ten honors last season.
