Penn State to play two night games in November

The Nittany Lions will host Iowa Nov. 5 and visit Rutgers Nov. 19 in primetime games to air on the Big Ten Network.

Penn State will host two night games in November. The Nittany Lions will host Iowa at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 for its Military Appreciation game and visit Rutgers at 8 p.m. Nov. 19. Both primetime games will air on the Big Ten Network.

The  primetime games mark the first time the Nittany Lions will play a night game in November since visiting Pittsburgh on Nov. 14, 1987.

Penn State and Iowa will face each other for the first time since 2012 when the Lions earned a 38-14 win in Iowa City. The Lions hosted the Scarlet Knights in the inaugural Stripe Out of Beaver Stadium last season.
