Somerset retailers pop up downtown

More than 30 Somerset Collection retailers opened pop-up holiday stores in downtown Detroit on Tuesday in its largest setting yet — the ground level of 1001 Woodward, at the northwest corner of Campus Martius

Somerset Collection CityLoft, now in its ninth season in downtown Detroit, introduces the Troy stores to a new market and audience.

A wine and beer bar operated by Townhouse is on site at the temporary downtown retail venue.

New retailers include Bachrach, Banana Republic, Chico’s, Coach, Crate and Barrel, Eileen Fisher, Henri Bendel, L’occitane, Louis Vuitton, Soma Intimates, True Religion and Vera Bradley, with many favorites returning such as Aveda, Bare Minerals, The Buckle, Claire’s, Eddie Bauer, Gap, Icing, Lego, Paradise Pen, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Swarovski, Very Bradley, Sur La Table, The Detroit Shoppe, Thomas Pink and Williams-Sonoma.

Somerset Collection CityLoft is open through Dec. 19. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
