Kellogg Co. Chairman and CEO John Bryant led much of beginning of the Steering Committee meeting held Thursday at company headquarters. BC Vision began with Kellogg and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation more than a year ago and has since added on community members to tackle some of Battle Creek’s biggest issues.

From breakfast options to the frozen food aisle, Kellogg Co. will unveil more than 40 products in early 2016 to reflect consumer trends.

The Battle Creek-based company said Thursday it's planning to release a series of wholesome and on-the-go breakfast options, new snack flavors for its Pringles and Cheez-It brands and additions to its Eggo and MorningStar Farms offerings.

Kellogg will continue the reinvigoration of its Special K brand with Special K Nourish in Apple Raspberry Almond and Coconut Cranberry Almond flavors with multi-grain quinoa flakes. It also will debut Mini-Wheats Harvest Delights with cranberry and blueberry options. The company's quick breakfast options are expanding, too, with Kellogg's To Go Breakfast Mix, a single-serve, resealable pouch with cereal meant to be consumed without milk.

Some other new additions in the cereal market include Kellogg's Smorz cereal; Kellogg's JIF PB&J cereal; new Pop-Tarts flavors such as Frosted Chocolatey Caramel, Maple Bacon and Watermelon; promotional cereal for Marvel's "Captain America Civil War," Disney's "Finding Dory," and Disney's "Frozen"; as well as Frosted Flakes with Energy Clusters, Special K Protein, Froot Loops Bloopers and Special K Granola.

Pringles, Cheez-It, Nutri-Grain and Keebler will see changes in the upcoming year with new flavors and limited-time offerings available.

Eggo will add Thick and Fluffy Chocolatey Chip Strawberry waffles to its brand; MorningStar Farms Meal Starters is adding meatless products Chik'n Strips and Steak Strips for vegetarian options as well as a grouping of Veggie Bowl products and White Bean Chili Burgers.

A complete list of the company's new products is available on the company's website.
