Spotlight on Wanton Widows by Isabella Hargreaves

WANTON WIDOWS: THREE SHORT REGENCY ROMPS
By Isabella Hargreaves

Widows seeking romance is all the trend!

I love historical romance and no one writes historical romanctic romps like Isabella Hargreaves.

Blurb:

'Three Regency-era widows seek new partners in unconventional ways'

'What a Widow Wants' - The young Dowager Lady Caroline Newberry sets out to snare a lover.

'The Widow's Wedding Night' - Arabella LInfield dreams of a wedding night to remember, but the reality is a surprise.

'Wooing the Wealthy Widow' - Can Sir Hercules Standfast pass the wealthy widow's twelve tests for penniless suitors?

Excerpt:
"What a Widow Wants"
She inclined her head in acknowledgement of his words and waited, unmoving and pointedly, for him to invite her to dance in the waltz set assembling behind them.

He took her hint and responded as she wished. She placed her hand on his black-clad arm. Beneath her fingers was solid muscle. Promising.

The music commenced and she slid her hand up his arm to rest it upon his shoulder. It was wide and unpadded. Mmmm.

He took her right hand in his, while his other hand, on her waist, heated her skin through the silk of her dress. He spun them around the ballroom, skilfully keeping her safe from the other dancers.

Bio:
Isabella Hargreaves writes Romance through the Ages. From tenth century England, to the English Civil War, to Regency London and outback Australia in the 1920s, Isabella has a romance to tell.

She lives in Brisbane, Australia with her family and a house full of pets. Her love of history surfaced in childhood when she subscribed to a history magazine. Now she spends each workday researching and writing about Australian people, places and institutions. By night she writes romance.

Isabella’s debut novel, The Persuasion of Miss Jane Brody, set in Regency England, was published in 2013 after placing in the Steam eRead’s ‘Some Like it Hot’ Romantic fiction competition. The book went on to final in the Australian Romance Readers Awards and the Romance Writers of New Zealand Koru Awards.

When she’s not reading and writing, Isabella loves horse-riding and walking. She dreams of an around-the world trip to indulge these passions.
