Hi Karina, which free Adobe book are you talking about exactly? And what problem or issue did you have? Did you receive any error or other message? It’s hard to help without more details.

Did you try with a different web browser – or using another computer or device? That’s really the first thing to check.

Also, are you blocking or filtering anything with your browser(s) – like cookies, downloads, or any sites or URLs? Adobe recommends turning those things off…

Or are you running any utilities that might restrict your web surfing – like Ghostery, AdBlock, or Disconnect? Or possibly your firewall, antivirus program (esp. Kaspersky), or other third-party security software? It could be because of over-aggressive software or utilities like these. Again, for downloads, Adobe suggests temporarily turning off anything that might be interfering.

An alternative would be to try downloading the book PDF’s for mobile usage and reading with a tablet/iPad or smartphone/iPhone… That would avoid any issues with the desktop and then you could then share the books back to your computer using Dropbox, Box, or Creative Cloud online storage.

Hope that helps!

Yes, and that’s included for free by Adobe now as well. Using their new new AI Studio, you can take any Adobe Stock asset as a starting point and edit or change it to match your creative needs. You can remove or add objects in seconds, expand or animate the image, adjust the mood, transform colors, lighting, or style, or type to describe the edit you want. You can even generate an audio or music track for the free Adobe Stock videos.

And as noted, AI Studio is completely free and can be used on any Stock asset at any time.

Hi Roy, there is no change in Adobe policy of which we are aware… Just testing the sign-up for a new Lightroom plan now, Adobe’s site offers two options:

Annual, billed monthly for £11.99/mo (incl. VAT)
-or-
Annual, prepaid for £119.09/yr (incl. VAT)

Doing the math, we agree that the second (prepaid once a year) costs less for the 12-month membership.

In fact, we just published an article on how customers can save money by going with a “paid annually” subscription instead of a “paid monthly” plan. See:

How to Get an 9% Discount on Your Adobe Creative Cloud Plan

If this is a change in policy, please be upfront about it; it saves time.

Hello Shanna, wish we could get you the CC 2024 installers but Adobe now has a “N-1” Support Policy, meaning they will only offer and support the current major release and the one prior.

So technically, now, that would mean CC 2026 and CC 2025. Adobe has discontinued all older releases and no longer provides installers for them.

Thanks for your questions, John. We don’t sell anything here – we publish this Adobe blog but you can’t buy software from us.

And Adobe sells only the latest release of Elements, which is currently Elements 2026.

And at this point, it would be hard to impossible to find a safe and legal copy of Elements 2021 or prior.

Sorry the news isn’t better. For older systems, the best you could do really is to upgrade if that’s possible. Best of luck!

My Question: can I simply purchase Photoshop Elements 2020 or 2021 from your website?

I had been using an older version on Mac Mojave, my old SSD crashed, it’s out for recovery, now on a new SSD and new OS is now Catalina. The old PSE (14 or 15) will not install on the 64-bit Catalina.

Thank you

Download will be slow, but it does work.

Did you read the article?

There are two ways to get offline installers (direct download links) for the Creative Cloud 2026 apps… Both are described in the post above.

Gareb, are you talking about CS6 or Adobe Camera Raw 9.1.1?

Please read our response above carefully in either case.

Hi, i am failing to download despite following steps – please help

Adobe no longer makes Creative Cloud download links publicly available, so we provide the instructions that you need to get them instead.

Tom, please see the notice at the top of this page regarding direct download links for Creative Cloud… We’ve kept this page up as a waystation to help readers download the standalone installers that Adobe makes available under their new support policy.
