This year’s Peloton presence is expanded from last year’s appearance, with three distinct programming tracks across the weekend featuring Ben Alldis, Joslyn Thompson Rule, Susie Chan, and Jon Hosking.

One event will be the “Mornings With Peloton”, which will be a 30 minute warm-up session. These begin with gentle stretches and mobility exercises before progressing into strength-building movements designed to boost power, stability, and focus.

There will be two of these events, with one on Friday, and one on Saturday:

• Friday @ 9:15am – Joslyn Thompson Rule
• Saturday @ 9:15am – Ben Alldis

Peloton will also be hosting some traditional (in-person) “Peloton Workout” sessions. There will be 7 different sessions taught, with options for HIIT cardio and bodyweight strength. The classes will all be 30 minutes long, and taught by either Ben Alldis or Joslyn Thompson Rule.

The Peloton workouts will be:

• Friday @ 1:00pm – Bodyweight Strength & Conditioning with Joslyn Thompson Rule

Finally, there will also be a “Peloton Walk & Brunch Club” taking place all 3 mornings of the Festival – with Susie Chan leading the session Friday & Jon Hosking leading the Saturday & Sunday sessions.

These will be a guided morning walk through the scenic grounds of Cornbury Park, followed by a sit-down brunch at The Soul Food Cafe. The walk starts at 9:15am and the full experience runs approximately two and a half hours.

Wilderness is the latest in a growing list of UK events and festivals Peloton is participating in this year. On Thursday, April 2nd, Peloton released a special pre-recorded episode of Matty Maggiacomo’s Walk & Talk series: “The Real Housewives”.

The class features four members of the new Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast who are live in studio for the class: Kelsey Swanson, Liz McGraw, Alicia Carmody, and Dolores Catania.

Throughout the class, during each of the regular “Walk & Talk” segments, Matty has discussions & interviews with each of the cast members (featuring one member per segment). Each of them has a microphone, and is shown on camera during their featured segment while having their discussion with Matty.

Matty starts the class by sharing facts & information about Rhode Island. He then moves into his discussion each cast members, with topics including their transition from what they were doing before to life on the TV show, what role he thinks they will fall into the show, pet peeves, and more.

Hosted by Peloton instructor Jon Hosking, the series features candid, round-table conversations with Peloton instructors away from the studio and leaderboard. We previously shared about the teaser when it dropped last week.

The format is part talk show, part dinner party. Jon sits down with groups of instructors for unscripted, wide-ranging conversations over drinks (wine makes an appearance partway through). There’s no workout involved, as this is purely about getting to know the instructors as people. The series is divided into chapters, with topics changing from personal stories, games, and member-submitted questions.

The first episode runs 53 minutes and features Tunde Oyeneyin, Kirsten Ferguson, and Katie Wang. They are a trio who are best friends in real life and refer to themselves as “the Dreamgirls” (the name of their group chat). Jon guides the conversation through several chapters, pulling back the curtain on their friendship, careers, and what it means to be a woman on the Peloton instructor team.

You can find the first episode here on Peloton’s YouTube channel. Although Peloton has not added the episodes to the “Peloton Originals” section of Peloton Entertainment on the hardware devices, you can watch it by using the YouTube app within Peloton Entertainment.

The episode opens with the group recounting a vacation story from Turks and Caicos involving Kirsten, a fire show, and a very close call with a flame.

From there, the conversation gets more personal. Jon asks each of them about breakthrough moments in their confidence. Tunde shares a powerful story about her first Speak Up ride in June 2020, just eight months into her Peloton career, during the height of the pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement. She describes 22,000 people taking the ride live, unclipping from the bike afterward, and breaking down in tears when Jess Sims showed her a recording of what she’d said on camera. She credits that ride as the starting point of truly stepping into who she is – and says it gave her the confidence to write her book and become Nike’s first athlete to hold a trainer/instructor title.

Kirsten talks about turning 40 as a defining shift, and it being the moment where worry started to fade and a new level of confidence kicked in. Katie describes her journey as an accumulation of leaps, including leaving her tech career, and moving away from her family in California to New York.

The group also discusses the reality of building a personal brand as an instructor, the challenge of separating your identity from your professional persona, and how showing up authentically is ultimately what connects with people. Tunde notes that when you play a character, you eventually lose track of the story. She notes that when you’re yourself, you don’t have to think about how to react.

A candid segment on injury resonated across all three. Kirsten had hip surgery and didn’t know if she’d run again, but came back to complete a marathon. Jon opens up about his own ankle injury and how it taught him he’d been taking movement for granted. Tunde reflects on how her injury forced her to confront emotional and mental healing she’d been masking with movement.

The lighter moments are just as entertaining. A “Who Would You Text?” game reveals that Kirsten is the go-to for both disposing of a dead body and drafting risque text messages, while Tunde is the one you call for honest relationship advice. When asked who they’d swap places with for a day, Katie picks Rebecca Kennedy or Andy Speer (noting that swapping with Andy would mean being married to Rebecca), Tunde chooses Alex Karwoski for his discipline and meticulous planning, and Kirsten says Camila Ramón, so she could teach a class in Spanish.

The member Q&A section surfaces some entertaining rumors the instructors have encountered about themselves online. This includes Kirsten dating Adrian Williams (she was not), Tunde’s birthday party secretly being a wedding (it was not), and Katie supposedly being a backup dancer (also no).

The episode wraps with a toast “to the Dreamgirls.”

New episodes of At The Next Table have not yet been announced, but future episodes will feature different groupings of instructors with Jon hosting. You can watch the first episode on Peloton’s YouTube channel.

The collection was created alongside the release of the third installment of the series last week. There are currently three classes in the collection. They include:

“Dein Konzert” translates to “Your Concert” in English, and the series is essentially the German-language equivalent of Jenn Sherman’s popular Sing-Along rides. The format encourages riders to sing along to the playlist while riding (both at home and for those in the studio), bringing what Peloton describes as “concert energy” to the Bike.

Note that these are German-language classes, so the instructor cues and conversation will be in German, though the music itself may include a mix of German and international hits.

It has not been announced how often new Dein Konzert classes will be released.

Earlier this week Sam posted a video to his Instagram Stories showing him in an audio recording booth at Peloton Studios. The text overlay reads: “Early morning audio for a new drop in May”, accompanied by a bed emoji.

In the video, Sam is heard saying the following as part of a class or content he is recording in the Peloton Studio:

“The intention tonight is simple: to soften the body, to steady the breath, and to transition from doing to being. The day may still be moving through you; conversation, decision, momentum. For the next few minutes, we’ll change the pace.”

Though not explicitly stated, the language used strongly suggests that Sam is recording meditation classes for Peloton; and in particular, sleep meditation or wind down meditation classes.

There are currently seven instructors – all yoga instructors – actively teaching Peloton meditation content on a regular basis: Aditi Shah, Anna Greenberg, Chelsea Jackson Roberts, Denis Morton, Kirra Michel, Mariana Fernández, and Nico Sarani.

Other coaches – such as Adrian Williams, Jon Hosking, and others – have taught meditation on a one-off basis.

The most likely scenario is that Sam would be recording a new “Wind Down” meditation class as part of a special release.

Peloton members have long hoped Sam would teach meditation classes, with many feeling his background as a monk would make him perfectly suited for this.

Sam Yo recently also shared that he is going on a book tour in May, in support of his upcoming book The Monk’s Mindset: Finding Stillness in a World That Won’t Stop Moving which is being released in May.

Bradley Rose, Ben Alldis, and Joslyn Thompson Rule all will lead sessions and conversations across the weekend in what the festival describes as its “Fitness Field.”

The programming will cover movement, motivation, and mindset, with both high-energy classes and wellness talks planned – although the specific classes & talks have not yet been announced.

The Big Retreat Festival shared the news on Instagram, saying “We’re excited to announce our Connected Wellness Partner, Peloton joining us for 2026.”. They went on state that “Whether you’re stepping into your first class or looking to push your edge, these are the moments that will lift you, shift you and leave you feeling better than when you arrived.”

As is sometimes the case with these bigger partnerships, there will also be a giveaway for Peloton hardware (a Peloton Bike) taking place at some point.

Peloton’s own announcement noted that attendees can expect “a weekend of instructor-led wellness talks and high energy classes, all set against the peaceful backdrop of Pembrokeshire National Park.”

A specific schedule of Peloton sessions at the festival has not been released yet. Tickets are available at thebigretreatfestival.com, and range from £269 for a weekend pass or £79-£99 for a day ticket.

Peloton has been announcing several UK event partnerships in recent weeks. Peloton was also named the “Movement Partner” of The Longevity Show, a healthspan and wellness event in London on June 26–27. Together with the HOKA Hackney Half Marathon partnership, Peloton is continuing to partner with several festivals & events, as well have their instructors attend more real world events.

In a previous earnings call, Peloton had said they aimed to have their instructors at 10 times as many events per year as they previously had.

“Courtside” is a reimagined version of ESPN’s previous altcast format, which for the past six years featured Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi on ESPN2 during the women’s tournament. ESPN recently announced they were going in a new direction with a wider panel of personalities. With that, they have now announced Jess Sims will be the new host.

Jess will be joined by Olympic bronze medalist Ilona Maher for both semifinal games and the championship, WNBA players Natisha Hiedeman and Courtney Williams (known as the “StudBudz”) as analysts for Friday’s semifinals, six-time WNBA All-Star Chelsea Gray as a guest analyst for Sunday’s championship, and ESPN sports creator Katie Feeney handling roaming interviews and fan reactions.

The entire group will be seated courtside rather than in a traditional broadcast booth, which producers say will inject extra energy into the broadcast. A press release stated:

With Ilona, Natisha, Courtney, Chelsea, Jess, Katie and a dynamic lineup of guests, Courtside will deliver a fresh, authentic perspective on the game. By placing this group right at courtside, we’re creating an immersive experience that brings fans closer than ever – capturing the energy of the arena while also delivering insight, personality and fun.

Jess shared her excitement on social media, saying: “I am so excited for this. It’s basically like you’re watching the Final Four and the national championships with your girls courtside.”

Here’s the broadcast schedule:

• Friday, April 3 @ 7:00pm ET – Semifinal 1 (ESPN2)
• Friday, April 3 @ 9:30pm ET – Semifinal 2 (ESPN2)

This is the latest in Jess’s growing role with ESPN. She has served as a sideline reporter for several high-profile women’s basketball matchups this season and is a weekly contributor to “College GameDay.”

U.S. District Judge Margo Brodie in Brooklyn, New York issued a 54-page decision dismissing the case on March 31st, ruling that shareholders did not show Peloton defrauded them.

The judge said the company’s public statements about being focused on safety, putting “members first,” and making the “best equipment” did not constitute fraud towards investors, even if Peloton was aware of quality issues internally.

Brodie also ruled that Peloton cannot be held liable for initially underestimating the cost of the recall, or for allegedly concealing 35 reports of broken seat posts before the voluntary recall. The judge wrote that even if Peloton knew about those complaints, they did not support the argument that those reports would necessarily lead to a recall of every original Bike sold between January 2018 and May 2023.

This lawsuit, Solomon v. Peloton, was originally filed in 2023 following the seat post recall. It was dismissed in 2025, but the judge left the door open for the plaintiffs to refile with an amended complaint, which they did last April. This latest ruling dismisses that updated complaint.

The alleged coverup of bike corrosion was known internally at Peloton as “Project Tinman,” according to court papers. The issue first came to public attention when the Financial Times reported in 2022 that Peloton workers had been painting over rust on bikes before they were shipped to customers.

The ruling goes into significant detail about the financial fallout from the recall. After Peloton initially estimated the recall would cost $8.4 million, the company received approximately 750,000 requests for replacement seat posts, which far exceeded their expectations. This led to replacement seatposts taking months to ship to members, and Peloton ultimately had to add an additional $40 million accrual cost.

The recall also triggered Peloton’s first-ever quarterly subscription decline since going public in 2019, with 29,000 subscriptions lost and churn jumping from 1.1% to 1.8%.

However, the judge ruled that Peloton’s public statements about putting “Members First” and making the “best equipment” amounted to “mere corporate puffery” that was “too general to cause a reasonable investor to rely upon them.” She also found that even if Peloton executives knew about the 35 seat post complaints, that knowledge alone did not support the argument that those reports “would lead to a recall of every Bike Peloton sold” over a five-year period.

The news about the most recent lawsuit dismissal was first reported by Bloomberg Law, with Reuters, among others.

Neither the shareholders’ lawyers nor Peloton responded to requests for comment from Reuters at the time of their report.

Starting May 1st, the Peloton All-Access Membership (which is what anyone who owns a hardware device has) will increase from $49.99 to $54.99 per month. However, members who wish to stay at the current $49.99 price point will have that option – with a catch. Those who remain on the lower tier will see ads inserted into their classes several times per workout. Peloton is calling the two options “Peloton All-Access Premium” ($54.99/month, ad-free) and “Peloton All-Access Standard” ($49.99/month, with ads).

According to sources familiar with the plans, ads on the Standard tier will appear 2-3 times during a class, depending on the length, typically between song transitions or during recovery sections. A 30-second ad overlay will appear on the screen while the instructor continues teaching – though the instructor audio may be muted during the ad. Peloton says they are working to ensure the ad placements feel “natural and non-disruptive,” though it remains to be seen how members will feel about an election ad popping up during a Zone 5 effort.

A Peloton spokesperson shared that their internal research showed that in their previous advertisement tests, the lululemon look cam, members did not quit those class at a higher frequency than normal. Based on that, Peloton does not expect any negative sentiment based on these new ads either.

Peloton last raised their membership costs from $44 to $49.99 last fall, along with the announcement of the Cross Training series of hardware.

This is a reversal from CEO Peter Stern’s recent comments on the topic. Just a few weeks ago, we reported that Stern had said Peloton was not currently exploring advertising as a revenue stream. However, sources say the landscape shifted rapidly after activist investor Elliott Investment Management entered the picture.

According to multiple people briefed on the matter, representatives from Elliott took one of their Southwest planes to New York, arriving at Peloton’s headquarters with duffel bags of cash and a detailed list of operational demands. Among the stipulations: the immediate introduction of an ad-supported membership tier to boost revenue, a restructuring of the studio experience, and what one source described as “a general attitude of doing things differently around here.”

Elliott, of course, is the same activist investment firm that recently took a stake in Southwest Airlines and pushed through sweeping changes to the carrier’s decades-old open-seating policy in favor of assigned seats and premium cabin options. It appears they’re bringing a similar playbook to Peloton.

In what appears to be directly inspired by that Southwest overhaul, Peloton is also doing away with its current entry system that sees members granted entrance based on whether it’s their first time to the studio, someone with a milestone, or a repeat visit (and then first come first serve within those groups). Starting this summer, in-person classes at Peloton Studios New York and Peloton Studios London will shift to a “paid boarding group” model with three tiers:

• First Class ($75/class) – Priority entry, front-row guaranteed seating, and a post-class smoothie from the studio cafe.
• Studio Select ($45/class) – Early boarding with preferred bike/tread selection, but no front-row guarantee.
• General Boarding ($35/class) – Standard entry after First Class and Studio Select members have been seated. Remaining bikes/treads assigned at random.

Members in the General Boarding group will line up in the plaza area and board in numbered groups, which Peloton says will be determined by factors including Club Peloton tier status, lifetime class count, and “overall vibes.” A Peloton spokesperson clarified that the “vibes” metric is still being calibrated internally.

The changes are expected to go into effect in phases, with the ad-supported tier launching May 1st and the studio boarding group system rolling out over the summer.

Although not officially announced, it’s likely there will also be an event at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY), as Peloton typically hosts events whenever an instructor releases a new book. Recent examples include Robin Arzón’s “Cooking with Robin” event for her Eat to Hustle cookbook launch earlier this month.

The book officially releases on May 19th – three days after the first tour stop. The Monk’s Mindset: Finding Stillness in a World That Won’t Stop Moving draws on Sam’s experience as a former Buddhist monk, exploring themes of mindfulness, stillness, and finding balance. Sam first announced the book back in 2024, then shared the release date last fall. Earlier this month, he polled members on which cities they’d like him to visit.

On Wednesday, April 1, a new 20 minute 90s Barre class with Leanne Hainsby-Alldis will be available to take on demand at 12 AM ET (5 AM BST).

Note that this is a pre-recorded class drop, as Leanne is still on maternity leave following the birth of her and Ben Alldis’s son in December. It’s not yet known when Leanne will return to the live class schedule.

On Friday, April 3, a 30 minute Yoga + Pilates class with Johanna Ricouz will be available to take on demand at 12 AM ET (5 AM BST).

On Sunday, April 5, Peloton guest instructor Christian Vande Velde returns for a live 45 minute Real Routes Ride featuring Cobblestone Climbs. This ride will be at 8 AM ET (1 PM BST).

Christian’s Real Routes cycling classes bring some of his favorite outdoor routes straight to your Bike.

Also on Sunday, join Kirsten Ferguson on the leaderboard for a live 30 minute Gospel Run at 9:30 AM ET (2:30 PM BST).

There will also be several Transgender Day of Visibility (TDoV) classes on the live schedule on Tuesday, March 31, including a ride with Robin Arzón and a ride in German with Erik Jäger. It also looks like a run with Matty Maggiacomo will drop on demand that day.

Peloton has started the new tradition of creating “Greatest Hits” collections as instructors hit the 5 year anniversaries (or later ones for instructors who have been here longer).

We first broke the news that Bradley would be joining Peloton in December 2020, and then Peloton officially made the announcement in March 2021.

The first episode dropped today on YouTube and runs about 37 minutes, with rapper Wiz Khalifa as the inaugural guest.

The format combines a real workout with a wide-ranging conversation. Alex and Wiz train together throughout the episode while discussing fitness routines, mental health, family, music, and career. It’s not a typical sit-down interview, as they’re actively lifting, doing strength work, and cardio while they talk, and then the conversation continues into recovery.

In the first episode as the featured guest, Wiz shared that he’s been doing strength training and Muay Thai for about eight years, originally getting into it because he wanted to try MMA but was told he was too skinny. He now incorporates cardio five days a week and emphasized that rest and recovery days, including massages, cold plunge, chiropractic work, and full rest days, are just as important as the workouts themselves. When Alex asked about 90-day fitness challenges, Wiz said he wishes people would extend that commitment for life rather than treating it as a short-term thing.

The conversation also touched on workout music. Wiz said his go-to is ’90s hip-hop, with a mix of East Coast and West Coast depending on the day, but he also listens to jazz, particularly Japanese jazz, while training. He explained that instrumental music with good rhythm lets him freestyle his movement without lyrics getting in the way.

On fatherhood, Wiz got candid about how having his 12-year-old son has helped him practice self-love and resilience. He talked about coaching his son through frustration and then applying those same lessons to himself, aiming to turn parenting advice into personal mantras.

When Alex shared how Wiz’s music, in particular the song “Up”, helped him through one of the darkest periods of his life, Wiz responded with straightforward advice for anyone going through a tough time: “Get going and keep going.” He added that when negative self-talk creeps in, his first response is reminding himself he wouldn’t let anyone else talk to him that way.

Wiz also reflected on his longtime friendship and business partnership with his manager Will, who has been with him since the early days. He noted that having people in your inner circle who genuinely want to see you succeed is “the dream come true.”

When asked if he’d ever tried Peloton, Wiz admitted he hadn’t. Alex responded by offering to get him set up at home.

The episode was filmed at Unbreakable Gym and features a mix of strength training, dumbbell work, and mitt work (Muay Thai pads) throughout the conversation.

No release schedule has been announced yet for future episodes, but Alex teased his guests will include athletes, entertainers, motivators, musicians and more, indicating a lot more episodes may have been taped or lined up already.

Peloton will host several sessions across the weekend. Friday kicks off with a sunrise rooftop workout hosted by Peloton, while Saturday will feature a mixed-pace 5K run through East London led by Peloton instructors. All sessions will be open to ticket holders, though spaces will be limited.

Additionally, Leanne Hainsby will be one of the speakers on the event’s Headline Stage.

Ahead of the show, Peloton will host a preview event at Peloton Studios London, although details & date of that event have not yet been announced.

The Longevity Show is billed as “the global destination for longevity” and will feature keynotes, panels, workshops, and an expo covering everything from biohacking and nutrition to fitness, diagnostics, and mental health. The event includes both an industry-focused business conference and a consumer-facing exhibition. It is the inaugural edition of the event.

As we have previously shared, CEO Peter Stern is trying to brand Peloton as a “connected wellness company”, so we may see Peloton be involved in more events like this in the future.

A second run club has been added to the schedule ahead of race day. Peloton instructors Jon Hosking and Hannah Frankson will lead an interval-based run on Wednesday, May 13th, departing from Peloton Studios London at 6:30pm. Check-in opens at 5:00pm.

The group will head to Green Park for interval drills and workouts, covering up to 8K in total distance with the studio as both the start and end point. Runners of all levels are welcome, with designated pacers available throughout. Registration is required, which can be done via the Peloton Studios London booking website.

This follows the first Hackney Half run club on April 8th with Jermaine Johnson and Susie Chan, which we shared about in our earlier coverage. Both events are interval-focused rather than standard social runs.

Peloton is also running a giveaway tied to the partnership. New subscribers to Peloton marketing will be entered into a prize draw to win a Peloton Cross Training Series Tread and a bib for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in November.

A teaser for the series dropped today.

The series is described as unfiltered, round-table discussions with Peloton instructors — stepping away from the studio and leaderboard for candid conversations.

The format features Jon Hosking leading group discussions with 2 or more of this fellow instructors.

The official description reads:

Jon Hosking has been in New York City several times recently, with him teaching classes for a week or two at a time from PSNY. While some members had hoped this might be due to him training for a new modality, it now appears these visits were to record episodes of the new show.

This will be Peloton’s second new video podcast series they have launched recently, with the new “Off Air” video series launching this month as well.
