The 50^th Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show, a juried exhibition and retail sale, will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from November 6-8, with a Preview Party on November 5. The jury will accept 195 craft artists.

This show of Art by Hand serves as the Museum's largest yearly fundraising event and is devoted to bringing wide public attention to the field of craft art. Cumulative 49-year contribution: $15.3 million. Funds raised are used to purchase works of art and craft for the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to support exhibitions and education programs and to contribute to conservation and publication projects.

Of the 195 artists exhibiting in-person at the 2025 Show, 41 were new to the show.

EMERGING ARTISTS

To encourage the participation of craft artists who are beginning their careers, an Emerging Artist category is available. This option is open only to those who have been working at their craft for six (6) years or less and have never exhibited in the Show.

AWARDS

In addition to the Best of Show award ($1,500), there are nine (9) cash awards ($1,000 each) for excellence selected and sponsored by foundations, individuals, and arts organizations. These awards are presented at the Preview Party.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show offers the following free-of-charge to exhibiting artists:

Selling my 7-foot knockdown dark gray propanels, in excellent condition.

10 30-inch, 7-foot knock-down panels and three 25.5-inchers, all with telescoping legs. This is enough for a full 10x10 set-up plus a French door.

Six or seven stiffeners of various lengths (extras were given to me by a friend).

The Riverside Arts Weekend is sure to please artists and patrons alike. Join us as we celebrate two days of fabulous art in downtown Riverside, Illinois. This fine art fair, established in 2008, has become a community highlight. Riverside Arts Weekend (RAW), includes a full line up of activities, featuring a juried fine arts fair along with musical performances, children’s art activities, and other art-related events.

Riverside is located less than 15 miles from Chicago, with a commuter train line adjacent to the festival, and easily accessible by major highways. Riverside, a National Historic Landmark community with expansive green parkways, curvilinear streets, remarkable architecture and gas-lit street lanterns, provides plenty to explore and discover. This set up has received many compliments - with the floor and the size it is definitely it's own little world among busy art shows where clients stopped to linger, chat, enjoy and purchase art. It's served us well - just stepping back from shows and doing more travel.
