What You Need to Know

  • Interactive Brokers launched Custom Indexing for Registered Investment Advisors, a new direct-indexing solution.
  • Broadridge Financial Solutions partnered with Aiviq to enhance the quality and transparency of internal and external data.
  • The AmeriFlex Group launched AmeriFlex Premier+, a new, high-tech financial planning solution.

Snappy Kraken on Tuesday introduced what it said is a simple, “holistic” way for advisors to fulfill all their marketing needs in one place.

This complete digital marketing service was developed to help advisors “foster and deepen relationships with clients and prospects,” and “underscores Snappy Kraken’s commitment to providing accessible solutions at all stages of an advisor’s marketing journey,” the company said.

The new advisor service includes personalized websites and branding tailored to advisors’ ideal clients; marketing automation featuring unique content developed to “win prospects and wow clients;” text message marketing through the Convos platform to serve clients better and faster; and Freedom360. The latter marketing solution “eliminates the need for advisors to single-handedly manage their entire marketing systems,” it said.

The new service’s introduction follows Snappy Kraken’s acquisition of Advisor Websites last year.

Custom Indexing for RIAs

Interactive Brokers launched Custom Indexing for Registered Investment Advisors, a new direct-indexing solution that it said Tuesday allows RIAs to personalize client portfolios.

The custom portfolios will directly hold the underlying securities of an index instead of purchasing a traditional index fund, the firm said.

The approach offers a few benefits, including the ability to customize portfolios to align with specific client investment objectives, as well as include or exclude specific stocks based on ESG preferences and other factors.

Unlike traditional exchange-traded fund investing, custom indexing doesn’t have an expense ratio and comes with low minimums, allowing RIAs to customize and personalize investing to their clients’ needs, Interactive Brokers noted.

In addition to custom indexing, Interactive Brokers provides a variety of tools and resources to help RIAs manage their businesses, including portfolio analytics, performance reporting and a trading platform.

Broadridge Teams With Aiviq

Broadridge Financial Solutions partnered with Aiviq, a provider of client-level assets under management and asset flow reporting for global asset managers, to enhance the quality and transparency of internal sales reporting data and external market intelligence, the firms said Wednesday.

“The strategic relationship between Aiviq and Broadridge will provide asset management firms with a better view of client AUM and asset flow data for their global market intelligence,” Aiviq executive director Greg Glass said in a statement.

“We will work closely with Broadridge to ensure the speed and availability of global fund data for asset management firms and improve both the quality and efficiency of that data,” Glass said.

AmeriFlex Premier+ Launches for Advisors

The AmeriFlex Group launched AmeriFlex Premier+, a proprietary, “high-tech” financial planning solution.

AmeriFlex Premier+ “equips advisors to deliver an elevated service experience and helps clients envision the outcome of their planning goals, thereby empowering them to make more informed financial decisions,” the advisor-owned hybrid RIA said Thursday.

The automated, all-in-one planning solution generates several “what-if” scenarios that the firm said reflect “transitional situations clients face throughout their lives: retirement, purchase or sale of a home or business, divorce or loss of a loved one.”

Advisors have the ability to provide customized service “without the expense, effort and complexities of building and maintaining a transitional wealth planning platform on their own,” the firm said.

A small group of AmeriFlex advisors with clients across the wealth spectrum have been participating in a “soft rollout, using the program in both virtual and in-person meetings with impressive results,” the company added.

Bento Adds New Tool

Fintech Bento Engine launched “Your Journey,” a new tool that it said Tuesday was designed to “help advisors generate and convert more leads.”

The tool features a customizable widget that the firm said can be embedded into an advisors’ website, offering prospective clients “relevant and actionable advice while seeking to generate warm leads for advisors.”

The company pointed to the findings of advisor website experts Twenty over Ten showing that the average U.S. financial advisor converted less than 1% of their website visitors into booked meetings.

With Your Journey, Bento hopes to close the gap, inviting visitors to enter their year of birth to learn more about key financial milestones, or “Moments that Matter,” Bento said.

After they receive information about timely and relevant life events, prospects are encouraged to schedule a meeting or contact an advisor through an online form.

To use the Bento Engine Your Journey program, advisors must have a website based on WordPress and/or be supported by one of the large marketing firms focused on wealth management, Bento said.

Catchlight Starts Advisor Growth Program

Catchlight launched its Advisor Growth Program, a multi-faceted instruction series that it said Wednesday guides advisors through the steps required to build and execute a focused growth strategy.

The program was created based on years of collective expertise in advisor training and marketing that Catchlight said could cost thousands of dollars in a standalone format.

The program is available now to Catchlight users at no additional cost.
