A federal jury in the Eastern District of Texas awarded a $303.15 million verdict to Netlist, a semiconductor manufacturing company, finding Samsung infringed several of its patents.
Following a trial presided over by U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap of the Eastern District of Texas, the jury on April 21 found Netlist had prevailed in asserting claims of patent infringement for all five of the patents they alleged were violated by Samsung’s making, selling, and manufacturing of similar products.
