After U.S. News & World Report pushed back the release of its much-anticipated 2023-24 “Best Law Schools” last week, it has delayed it once again—this time indefinitely.

The report was originally due to be released on April 18, and late on April 14, the date was moved to April 25, but Wednesday afternoon—the day the embargoed draft was due to be sent to law schools—the news agency instead sent a message to deans and school administrators saying, “The updated embargo and final files for 2023-2024 Best Medical Schools and 2023-2024 Best Law Schools rankings and supporting documents will be released when this work has been completed,” according to a TaxProf blog posted by Paul L. Caron, Duane and Kelly Roberts Dean and professor of law at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law.
