The Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar of the American Bar Association granted Golden Gate University School of Law a good-cause extension of up to three years to get its bar passage rate into compliance.

At its November 2021 meeting, the council concluded that GGU Law was not in compliance with Standard 316 for its 2018 graduating class. That bar passage standard requires that at least 75% of a law school’s graduates must pass a bar examination within two years of their date of graduation, according to a March 13 ABA notice.
