The University of California, Davis, School of Law is now the fifth California law school—and 12th law school overall—to withdrawal from participating in the U.S. News & World Report education rankings.

Kevin R. Johnson, dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o Studies, wrote a letter to the UC Davis Law community on Monday saying, “Beginning today, UC Davis School of Law will no longer provide data,” a decision reached “after receiving guidance from the law faculty, campus leadership, students, alumni and others.”
