An 11th law school—and the fourth in California—has announced its intentions to cease participating in the U.S. News & World Report education rankings.

Austen L. Parrish, dean and Chancellor’s Professor of Law, at the University of California, Irvine School of Law—which is tied at No. 37 with four other schools in the U.S. News rankings—posted a message to the community Wednesday announcing that the school is withdrawing from participating in the U.S. News rankings, calling it a “decision that we have not reached lightly.”
