For many years, law schools have been ranked and now a new organization “Fake News & Distorted Reports” has decided to rank major U.S. law firms. Pre-market surveys indicate that the same kind of numerical ranking that has bewitched prospective law students, professors, deans and alumni has spread to law graduates who want help in deciding which are the best firms.  In addition, clients who are being asked to pay exorbitant hourly rates have concluded that they are tired of picking firms in the dark without any objective guidance.

The man behind the law firm rankings kindly consented to an interview with me before the rankings appear. Below is the transcript of the interview.
