Lawsuits alleging that prenatal use of the pain reliever acetaminophen caused children to develop autism or ADHD will be transferred to New York, according to a judicial panel’s order on Wednesday.

The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, in its order, combined 65 lawsuits into a single proceeding over the objections of the defendants, which are nine retailers, including CVS, Walgreens, Target and Walmart. Although acetaminophen is most commonly known as Tylenol, which is sold by Johnson & Johnson, the lawsuits target retailers and their generic brands, instead.
