The White House on Tuesday nominated federal prosecutor Jabari Wamble to a seat on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit that has been vacant for more than a year.

Wamble has been an assistant U.S. attorney in the District of Kansas since 2011, and before that, was an assistant attorney general in the Office of the Kansas Attorney General. He received his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2006.
