The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit upheld a $40 million international arbitration award for a Peruvian construction company, rejecting arguments from the opposing party in the dispute that the award should be tossed because two of its attorneys switched sides during the arbitration proceedings.

SSK Ingeniería y Construcción was awarded $40 million in 2020 in a dispute over an oil refinery project in Talara, Peru with one of its subcontractors, the Peruvian company Técnicas.
