A federal judge in Virginia has dismissed a suit brought by a member of Americans Against Mask Mandates, which challenged the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Mask and Testing Orders as they relate to U.S. air travel.

Pro se plaintiff Kleanthis Andreadakis filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia challenging the two orders issued for COVID-19 safety in the airline industry, according to the July 11 opinion. In the complaint, Andreadakis sought to “‘end the unlawful discrimination against the disabled such as [himself] who can’t safely wear a mask.’”
