McDermott Will & Emery has bolstered its litigation practice with pick-ups from Morrison & Foerster and King & Spalding, the latest in a recent hiring surge in Big Law in the securities and regulatory arena.

The firm on Wednesday said it’s hiring New York-based Joel Haims, former global co-chair of Morrison & Foerster’s securities litigation and enforcement group, and Jonathan Henry, from King & Spalding in Washington, D.C., who focuses on investigations and complex civil litigation and who has particular experience representing accounting firms.
