Alicia Ouellette, president and dean of Albany Law School, submitted her resignation Tuesday, stating she intends to step down on June 30, 2023, after completing a nearly nine-year tenure.

Ouellette, a 1994 graduate of Albany Law School, took over as dean in October 2014 succeeding Penelope Andrews before being officially named as president and dean by the Board of Trustees in January 2015, according to the school’s announcement.
