An attorney who was publicly reprimanded nearly three years ago was recently sanctioned again by a subcommittee of the Virginia State Bar for violating professional rules governing fees and safekeeping property.
On April 20, the First District Subcommittee of the Virginia State Bar voted to approve an agreed disposition for public reprimand with terms for Jason Alexander Atkins. Atkins allegedly violated rules pertaining to reasonable fees and record-keeping requirements of his trust account.
