The son of a Brooklyn judge received an eight-month prison sentence Friday for being among the first members of a pro-Trump mob to breach the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Aaron Mostofsky, the 35-year-old son of Kings County Supreme Court Justice Steven Mostofsky, arrived at the Capitol donning a fur pelt and holding a rod because, prosecutors said, he wanted to show that even a “caveman” would recognize massive fraud in the 2020 election. He picked up a discarded Capitol Police riot shield and later donned a bullet-resistant vest he found sitting in a case.
