Maine’s Supreme Judicial Court has vacated and remanded an attorney’s reinstatement, questioning whether the lawyer complied with an order to seek counseling on appropriate boundaries with clients.

Saco-based attorney Gary M. Prolman received an indefinite suspension from the Maine bar in June 2014 due to federal money laundering convictions. He pleaded guilty in April 2014 and received a 24-month sentence and two years of supervised release in December 2014. He was released from custody in May 2016, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
