Jeffrey and Lauren Lowe, former operators of the Tiger King Park in Oklahoma and featured in the wildly popular Netflix documentary “Tiger King,” have agreed to a lifetime ban on exhibiting animals as part of a two-pronged resolution to a U.S. Department of Justice enforcement action tied to their alleged inhumane treatment of animals.

The consent decree, entered into in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, also terminates the married couple’s interests in 97 endangered or threatened animals seized from their park, and it affirms they have abandoned legal rights to another 41 animals they had kept, according to a DOJ news release and the consent decree.
