The litigation boutique Lehotsky Keller opened less than a year ago, but on Friday, co-founder Scott Keller will be among six lawyers arguing in the high-stakes challenges before the U.S. Supreme Court involving the Biden administration’s vaccine rules.

As the nation endured a record surge in COVID-19 cases over the holidays due to the Omicron variant, the justices will hear unusual expedited arguments in two sets of cases, which have each been slotted for an hour. The mandates, which the administration argues are essential to protecting employees, health care workers and patients, came to the high court in emergency applications, which generally are decided without oral arguments.
