Lawyers may not be in office as much these days, but they also may not always be home. With the flexibility that remote and hybrid work policies afford, it’s likely that some attorneys are working from friend’s houses, public workspaces or even cafes and restaurants.
Of course, there are cybersecurity risks from working in public or unfamiliar locations. But for the most part, firms say they aren’t placing hard restrictions on where their attorneys can work. Instead, they’re diligently instilling cybersecurity awareness in their remote workforce and providing them with the cybersecurity technology to work from anywhere.
