It’s no Scandal: Judy Smith will be the keynote speaker on Wednesday, February 2, at ALM’s Legalweek conference in-person in New York City. Smith, the co-founder of strategic advisory firm Smith & Company will be speaking in the keynote session titled “Leading Through Crisis: What Every Leader Should Know.”

Smith is perhaps best known as a crisis management advisor to host of high profile, celebrity and entertainment clients over the course of her career, including Monica Lewinsky, Senator Larry Craig, Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., actor Wesley Snipes and the family of Chandra Levy. A former federal prosecutor, Smith also worked in the White House as Deputy Press Secretary to President George H. W. Bush, and today serves as a counselor to Fortune 500 corporations providing strategic advice on a variety of corporate communications issues such as mergers and acquisitions, product recalls, intellectual property litigation, corporate positioning, diversity and other challenges.
